ACES Engineering Pathway

Welcome to the homepage for the AHS Academy and Engineering Pathway. The Engineering Pathway is designed for students that are interested in engineering, computer science, programming, physics, and mathematics (STEM) and who desire a hands-on course of study. The schedule of courses includes several Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses in a required sequence. Students in engineering are also exposed to work-based learning opportunities throughout the sequence. For 2023-24, two of the four Engineering courses (IED, CEA, ) have articulation agreements with Chaffey College for college credit. Prior to the 2023-24 school year, IED/CEA/POE were eligible for articulation.

The Engineering Pathway is rigorous but open for all incoming students that are interested and motivated to apply. You can also do engineering and still participate in sports, extracurricular activities, band, and leadership - we welcome well-rounded students that have the time management skills to take multiple responsibilities.

*Must meet qualifications for all AP classes. AP versions of some integrated classes available.
